An essential course presented by the Association of Pre and Perinatal Psychology and Health to support educators, parents and birth professionals! You will learn and experience powerful exercises from a body-oriented perspective to expand and deepen your skill set for working with clients and groups. Through exploring your own birth experience you will gain important insight into how you can support others.
All of our learning and practice will include discussion of application to participants' professional roles including pregnancy, birth, postpartum, early childhood education and parenting.
You will learn and practice: principles for establishing safety and connection, birth sequence imprinting and the five phases, autonomic nervous system physiology, and storytelling as a teaching tool, building resonance, mindfulness techniques, embodied teaching, group tracking, and tools for social engagement.
CEUs available through California Association of Midwives (CAM) and APPPAH. Class times are Friday at 7pm, Saturday 9:00am - 5:30pm, and Sunday 9:00am - 3:00pm.
